Privacy Policy

01 / What We Collect

We collect the minimum necessary to operate the service.

Email address. Provided by you at submission. Used to deliver your decision card and for account management.

Decision content. The text or transcribed voice input you submit. Stored with your card in our database.

Voice recording. If you record by voice, the audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription. The audio file is deleted immediately after transcription. We do not store it.

Generated card metadata. The analysis output, confidence level, recommendation, and card image URL. Stored in Supabase and accessible at your unique card URL.

02 / What We Do Not Collect

We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or behavioral ad networks.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party.

03 / How We Use Your Data

Service delivery. Transcribing your audio, running the analysis chain, generating your card, and emailing it to you.

Transactional email. Delivering your decision card via Resend. We send no marketing email without your explicit consent.

Account and billing. Managing your subscription, processing refunds, and responding to support requests.

04 / Third-Party Processors

We use a small number of sub-processors to operate the service. Each receives only the data necessary to perform their function.

OpenAI — voice transcription via Whisper API. Audio data is not retained after processing per OpenAI's API data usage policy.

Anthropic — decision analysis via Claude API. Input content is not used for model training per Anthropic's API terms.

Supabase — database and storage, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data stored in US East region.

Resend — transactional email delivery.

Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your card details.

05 / Data Retention

Voice recordings are deleted immediately after transcription.

Decision cards and associated metadata are retained for as long as your account is active, to power your archive.

If you request deletion of your data, we will remove your email and all associated decisions within 30 days. Email hello@usedecision.com to request deletion.

06 / Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted to application-layer service accounts. Decision cards are accessible at their unique URL — they are not listed publicly and are not indexed by search engines by default.

07 / Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@usedecision.com.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may also have rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

08 / Children

This service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will remove it.

09 / Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site. The effective date above reflects the most recent version.
